Hey guys
So I just registered 5 minutes ago and this is my first post!
So I have been using 5% Minoxidil for almost 6 months now and its been great, but ultimately (as far is growth stimulants is concerned) is not enough for me. For about a month now I have started using 2% Nizoral shampoo, Revivogen and 5% topical spironolactone, + Folligen. In just a short period of time, I have already started noticing dramatic results, however the thin patch on my crown (although is now easily covered up) is still a mildly evident. I have hope that in about 2-4 months things will be a lot better, but for now I am considering advances (please tell me if you guys think I should wait it out a bit).
OK! So here is my question -
I was considering using Minoxidil 12.5% in the morning and 5% at night.
- Do you think the effects will be much different?
- Has anyone here moved from 5% to 12.5% and noticed a great deal of improvement?
- Do you think 5% is more than enough and 12.5% won't make much of a difference?
- Are there any risks? because 12.5% is a dramatic increase (also considering Rogaine 5% is known as 'Extra Strength'
- Anything else I haven't considered?
By the way, the reason I would only use 12.5% once a day with 5% at night is because of financial reasons I want to hold back, and I believe only once a day should still be fine.
Cheers guys

PS. I'm 23 and my hair has been thinning since I was 17 (I know it sucks)... Funnily enough, thinning hasn't been too dramatic compared to a friend I had in highschool who started losing hair a couple of years later and is practically bald now...
