Hi guys, I have been applying minoxidil on my crown for almost 5 weeks now and I notice that I can see more scalp than before. Is this normal? I dont notice any heavy shedding. My hair line showed no results on minoxidil.Have been applying it on the hair line for past 2 months .Also it makes me itch crazy whenever I go out in the sun.Is this a bad sign ?Thanks. I don't see any hair loss. Why are you even using minoxidil?

pegasus22 , the hair is a bit long , so it covers up and I dont have any complete bald spots .Its heavily diffused.

Ok, you still have pretty good coverage though, so your chances of regrowth are good. Five weeks is nothing, I think my hair hit its worst point after about two months and then started improving. After six months you should be back to baseline and maybe even better. Peak results are typically achieved in one to two years.
