Minimum Age for hair transplant

So much has been said and written about being ehtical when it comes to hair transplant. But I wonder whether there should be a minimum age for an ethical doctor to accept patients for a hair transplant (unless there are exceptions such as treatment of head accidents or serious psychological depression).

Anyway, I can't imagine eg. someone being transplanted in his early 20s with thin hair and then being happy with his situation after 10 years unless having done another one. And another one. and another one...

Thats the thing is the Dr ethical or not? A good Dr will refuse to work on a patient who has'nt got their loss under control with drugs. Unless of course your talking about somone who is old with very minimal hairloss. Unfortunatly there are some who are willing to put a low hairline on a 20yr old who has severe loss already.

I agree if you are young and can't control your hairloss with treatments then getting a hair transplant is a BAD idea.

using hair treatments for young guys?... I wonder whether using the known hair drugs should be used at all in the long term because of unknown side-effects. Or does anybody know of any scientific study that showed that those drugs really didn't cause any problems at all?

... known side effects of hairloss drugs... it's not very encouraging taking those wonder pills when reading through posts from various people who have suffered from them.
