I just started using this in place of L'Oreal Hair Gel... Can anyone tell me if this is good/bad for hair loss and if these claims are true? And do I need folligen if Im using this?

Here are the ingredients and the claims that they make:

Zinc Sulfate - Blocks DHT. Reduces hair loss.
Azaleic Acid - Hair Stimulant
UV filter - Protects color molecules
Ginko Biloba Extract - Increases scalp circulation
Panthenol - Thickens the hair shaft
Saw Palmetto - Combats hair loss (Yeah I know but it says it)
Silk Protein - Adds strength and shine.
Wheat Protein - Imparts strength and shine
Aloe Leaf Extract - Mositurizes and conditions

Interesting approach putting these things in a gel. Can't hurt I think if you are a gel guy anyway.

I doubt that most of those substances in the product would penetrate past the outer layer of the skin if applied topically, thus not really doing any good. This is not a scientific opinion, just a hunch.
