Hey, so I've been examining my hair lately and I've noticed that if I part it in the middle, I can see an awful amount of scalp on the midline, Screenshot_20171202-220633.png especially under bright light. I've also noticed with my usual hairstyle that some scalp always seems to be inevitably visible around the crown area.^95BFC82B6D380E4EB6F05EC6B42682773A6FA3A0CB741FB283^pimgpsh_fullsize_distr.jpg I believe I'm not experiencing hair loss, since I pretty much don't have nor have ever had noticeable amounts of hair coming off my head at all. Is that normal? Could it be just genetics? And is there something I can do about it? Recently I had decided I wanted to try letting my hair grow, but seeing as I have such low hair density, I now wonder if I would have this huge gap in the middle all the time when it gets considerably long. Any suggestions about that?

That doesn’t look normal especially for a 17 year old. I’m no expert but I’d go to a dematologist. That pattern looks comparable to women’s hair loss
