Hi folks, I haven't posted here for a long time.
I read a great micropigmentation post on this site about six months ago in which this link showing Dr. Diep tackling an SMP victim http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCNV5J83F7Y
In the thread was the comment that this patient may have been an NHI client and furthermore, another poster suggested that Rassman uses regular tattoo ink and hence the appalling blue haze. i don't know if this is true or not and I am trying to find out about ink. I have searched for this thread time and again over the past two weeks and to no avail. It doesn't help that micropigmentation threads are scattered among the sections of the board.

Anyway, anyone know,
1) Where is his thread?
2) Who made the point about Rassman using tattoo ink and if it is valid - what we can do as SMP consumers viz-a-viz ink choice
3) Why do some clinics use black only and others use multiple colors and what is the wisdom of either

Much appreciated.

PS. I note Diep now has several post SMP cases on youtube.

Scar5, hello, If I am not mistaken, you had smp performed with NHI in Asia, is this correct? Based on your posts from another forum, it seems that you are struggling with blue results, yes? I have also had smp done on my scalp, but with a different provider (the provider I went to actually claimed to be associated with Dr Diep when I asked about the same youtube videos in question). I do not have these "blue" issues, but rather lack of results, and ultimately I was ripped off by the company I chose. Just to clarify, I am no shill, and honestly I believe SMP is a SCAM!!! I have never undergone Hair Transplants, but I do not believe that is for me either. I have filed BBB complaint against the company I chose, and I personally know another client who did the same but both our complaints are not reflected on the co's BBB record. I am sorry you are disapointed with your results but based on my research, NHI uses ink with blue additives (much like regular tattoo ink, as you suspected) and they also inject ink too deep into the Dermal layer of scalp which contributes to this effect. Good Luck bro, but you may have laser removal in your future.
