I would tend to question such a sweeping statement!![]()

I've already mentioned this a few times in the past under similar circumstances, and I'll do it again one more time. Dr. Proctor once made an incredibly bold statement on alt.baldspot. These were his exact words: "Proxiphen is unquestionably more effective than finasteride alone." It's hard for me to imagine that he would make such a bold statement, if he didn't have very good reason to believe it to be true.
hair today gone tomorrow said:i dont care...there are more studies and more proof behind finasteride....
hair today gone tomorrow said:how can he make such a claim? for someone who loves to read studies! he has no studies at all with prox...no hair counts/ hair weights or anything...for him to make a claim like that is irresponsible
hair today gone tomorrow said:finasteride is by far the best weapon we have against hair loss right now for MOST people.
Bryan said:I respect your position, but we're going to have to agree to disagree on this. Dr. Proctor's opinion carries a fair amount of weight with me and if he thinks that Proxiphen is "unquestionably more effective" than Propecia, then that gives me considerable pause, even if he's never conducted formal trials with it.
Bryan said:You were wise to include the "regardless of price" stipulation, because price would obviously be a major factor in the choice. But something that you FAILED to mention is the issue of side-effects, which would probably nudge me in favor of Proxiphen as the preferred choice for a young man.

...so minoxidil plus prox-n is a waste of time?
...and proxiphen is a lot better than prox-n?
...proxiphen rocks the hardest, followed by prox-n, then minoxidil?
Bryan said:You've brought me to an impasse! I'm unable to make a decision under those stated conditions. I have about equal confidence in both treatments.
