If you are reading this post, you have ADHD and you are taking Metylphenidate you probably know what this is all about.
Methylphenidate is excellent at making your hair fall. Does anyone know the exact explanation of why that happens?
Quick overview: Metylphenidate blocks dopamine and norepinephrine recaptation, so there's more of those in your synapse process. It is known that adrenaline increases prostaglandin production (PGD2 included), but I could not find an exact relationship between metylphenidate and hair loss...
If anyone has any clue or any experience to tell, I would really appreciate.
Thank you!
