Methods of minoxidil application

I am wonder if its only my temp. area is receeding, is it possible to apply the rogaine only onto the receeding (where theres minimum hair) area and not the entire scalp?
Any info/advice will be much appreciated!

I don’t apply minoxidil to anywhere other than my thinning regions – and this hasn’t hurt my hair over the 3 years I’ve been using.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with applying to just your hairline (and perhaps slightly beyond).

do u hav the rogaine hav helped ur hair to regrow? i am gonna restart propecia (i stopped due to nuts pain ), and thinking of adding minoxidil to boost my hairline.
