If I disolved 100 mg RU in 4 ml Solution, that would be a strength of 2,5 %

Has this the same efficiency as 100 mg RU in just 1 ml Solution, wich equals a 10 % Solution. ?

  1. Figure out how much mL you need to cover your problem area (temples, or entire head, etc.) between 2-4 mL depending on hair length
  2. Decide on the amount of RU you want to use DAILY (25, 50, 75 or 100 mg... etc.)
  3. Calculate the percentage: http://www.physiologyweb.com/calculators/percent_solutions_calculator.html i.e. let's say you need 3 mL of solution to cover your head and want to use 100 mg daily, that is 3.33333%
  4. Depending on how big of a batch you're making, let's say 3 mL daily for 10 days = 30 mL, you calculate the required mg for 30 mL with the percentage of 3.33333%, the result is 1000 mg
  5. Congratulations, applying 3 mL of your mixture will give you 100 mg of RU every day. Good luck
The only thing that matters is how many mg of RU you apply per day to the treatment area, the percentage is just useful when making the solution, the strength/efficiency depends on how many miligrams of RU gets to the target.

You could have a 2.5% mixture and apply 4 mL and that would net 100 mg of RU to treatment area
vs
a 5% mixture where you only apply 1 mL and get only 50 mg of RU to the treatment area...

The first one is obviously stronger despite lower %...

Get it?
