It's not very smart to put pictures of me into the web, but maybe that just illustrates the importance to have some comments on my appearance. Please be honest - how bad does it look?
I started to use finasteride, minoxidil and a ket-shampoo (regenepure dr/nt) a year ago - at the age of 26 - and it stopped the hairloss and I got some density back. Right now, nobody would assume that I'm loosing hair (NW1-status). But I shaved my head to see what would happen if it ever got to the worst case scenario...
I've read nearly all of the comments on the "new technologies"-section with people claiming that nothing will be out for 10+ years while others say that there should be something around till 2020. So, given the fact that we can't know from the data we have so far, how likely is it from a subjective standpoint that there will be something out just to maintain your hair status lifelong for nearly 99,9%? From the Rossi et al. studies I should assume that finasteride will maintain my hair with a 86% chance for 10 years, right?
Especially for people that have been here for more than 5-10 years: since minoxidil and finasteride there was nothing out that seemed to be promising for a long time... do you think that with all these things from pretty professional companies there should be something coming out in - let's say - 5 years or was it exactly the same situation back then with the same amount of "promising things" in the pipeline that failed and we should stay pessimistic?
Thanks for every response!
