Hi all. Since hair loss is a very sophisticated thing and there is only one approved drug which fights the reason of hair loss, I would like to start this survey, in order to find the correlation between the initial state of Finasteride consumer and effectiveness of the drug.

Consider following questions:
1) How old are you?
2) What is your hair state now? (Hair loss pattern)
3) How long have you been experiencing hair loss?
4) How long do you take Finasteride?
5) What is your regime? (Dosage, how often do you take the drug)
6) How would you evaluate your progress? (Use 0 - 10 scale for convenience. If you have a diary, feel free to share it with us).
7) Do you do any kind of sports?
8) Do you have any bad habits (alcohol, cigarettes)
9) Do you have any side effects? (If so, please name them)
10) Any other information and notes which you would like to share. (This item is optional).

How can this survey be helpful?
I believe it can give additional confidence to some guys, especially newbies.
Also, it should help to prove some theories like "Young guys who have healthy lifestyles get better results".

Anyone else can start another investigation basing on results retrieved from this thread.

I think everyone, who wants to share his experience can post here. I'm just trying to collect facts and help other to make some decisions based on collected results.

2) What is your hair state now? (Hair loss pattern) Norwood 1
3) How long have you been experiencing hair loss? Since 18 years old
4) How long do you take Finasteride? 5 months
5) What is your regime? (Dosage, how often do you take the drug) 1mg Finasteride every day + Minoxydil 2x/day
6) How would you evaluate your progress? (Use 0 - 10 scale for convenience. If you have a diary, feel free to share it with us). 5, i was a norwood 2,5 months ago with thinning on temple. Recovered almost a perfect straight hairline, just a bit less density.
7) Do you do any kind of sports? A lot of sport. Hockey+Running in national division
8) Do you have any bad habits (alcohol, cigarettes) Nop
9) Do you have any side effects? (If so, please name them) Not at all.( only brainfog the first week and loss of morning wood) disappeard after one week. I can jerk twice a day without problem and morning wood EVERY day.
10) Any other information and notes which you would like to share. (This item is optional). Go asap on finasteride this is the cure.

HairlineOfGod, thanks for the reply! Very relevant information for me. I'm 21, with diffuse thinning. I do running as well. Going to start treatments soon, still investigating.

If this thread has many posts I will try to make some kind of statistics.
