Maximum FU on frontal area, and cost?

Of course I decide to do hard core research now, the day before I have a Bosley transplant scheduled !! Research hasn't answered the following, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Bosley said the maximum FU I could have on the frontal area is 1200; any more than that and the FU's would compete for blood supply. And, if I wanted thicker hair, I could schedule another 1200 FUT months later.

The cost for 1200 grafts is about $9k. I saw recommendations for other clinics but no mention of the cost per FU. At Bosley, this is a set formula. Based on how many FUs you get the price ranges from $8 or so down to $5.5 per FU. Any idea how much those "nicer" clinics charge?

Ugg how did I get myself into this situation !

Bosley is well known for having unethical practices... and they don't have a medical license in most of the 50 states... that's saying something.

I would honestly cancel your surgery with them, and do some honest research. This is going to last your entire lifetime... so do some research.

Bosley is unethical. http://www.bosleymedicalviolations.com

Avoid.

Thanks, I read all that prior to my post. I just now cancelled/postponed my appointment; hopefully they don't keep my $500.

The Dr seems legit; Dr John Hamilton, who has been doing transplants for 20 years and has some nice testimonials. But there are specific bits of information Bosley did not provide. Like Density /cm2, etc. And I would rather not do two sessions, months apart when there appear to be doctors who could do large sessions and achieve better density in one procedure.

Thanks for the site and info guys!
