Maturing Hairline? Or Receding.. (14 Years Old)

I don't want to appear annoying with the "Am I balding? question, but i'm being completely serious..
My hairline has always been naturally high, and as of recent I can see some recession and the formation of a "M" shape of sorts, though I'm confused as to whether or not this is entirely "new" or not, as far as I'm seeing from pictures of myself when I was like 4-6 my hairline is looking pretty similar, how do I know whether or not it's maturing or receding?

My Dad didn't start balding until like his early-mid 40's my grandfather has just started to begin balding at like 76 and my Mom's side I have no clue.

My haircare kinda sucks I went about 3 months without washing my hair (dont ask)
And my diet is pretty bad as well, i've been trying to fix that lately,
I have a tendency to pull my hair and now run my hands through it all the time to see how much hair i any comes out out of paranoia

It is also worth mentioning I can see some thinning at my crown as well, not sure if it's too significant or not but it's a bit odd, when I leave it untouched it looks like a straight line on my crown without hair or whatever

Help please? And if you're going to post mean things go to a different post, i'm being completely serious, I've seen some salty or toxic comments on other people's posts because they have what seems to be a good head of hair, obviously i'm 14 and am not completely bald yet

Well I'd hope not, I wouldn't expect to have any significant balding until I'm atleast 16, though i wouldn't doubt if it happened to someone else earlier.

I'm just trying to know stuff like what NRW could I possibly be heading into and whether it's just maturing or what not

Mate your to young to worry about this. I know that male pattern baldness can occur at young age for a minority of men, but judging from your pictures you have nothing to worry about...at least for now. Everyone assumes that if your hairline isn't straight then it's something fishy going on...but not all men have a straight hairline with low forheads.

Alright.. What do you think about the crown? It seems to be pretty thin, though the other people in my year have the same kind of thinning or perhaps worse.. Though the top of my head seems to have a "straight line" shape on the crown for some reason

The thinning at my crown could be due to inflammation from Sebbhoric Dermatitis (Which I was perscribed a cream to treat)

Well thats completely natural as well. It's just the spot where your hair parts in different directions.

Nothing wrong mate. You have fine hair, fine hair can seem thin, specially for me who has fine hair and low density.

It also seems the part that I've been pretty much parting my hair too for all these years has some thinning as well, or at least that I've noticed too me it seems a bit red or inflamed though that could just be my eyes or the lighting
Here's another photo or two that gave me a scare, though I did take these in some harsh lighting so I'm not as sure

And thanks for all the comments and replies, I appreciate it greatly.

Will do.. Thanks for the comments guys, I'll try to forget about it and see if it gets any worse over the years
Though if worst comes to worst I assume I could just start on finasteride or whatever lol

Though I will say, my hairline and thinning crown all being natural seems a bit too over the top for me idk
Best of luck to you guys, ^_^

It's not natural to be thinning at 14, but you're not thinning. Everyones hair looks like this, if you cut it shorter there wont be such parting or at least it wont be obvious

You're asking a good question.

It's just there's no time line to your photographs. They all are marked the same day.

Your pictures that you have short hair, the hairline looks a little bit high (minor recession).

In the future, please mark your photographs with a date.

For the record, there is only a very SMALL percentage of men who lost their hair at your age.

I would guess it's less than one percent of 65000 active board members here., I only know three (and they're in there twenties now). I don't want to "call them out" on a blog, but if you want, I will PM them and see if they are willing to talk with you.

In "theory", it's possible after we hit puberty. But I'm telling you, in my high school, out of 1000 students, I only knew
ONE person who had a receded hairline.

His was noticeable his senior year, but he was twenty (failed class twice). He had a Norwood ONE hairline (one centimeter
above normal).

He was actually a few years older than his class mates to.

I NEVER knew anybody who balded at 14, personally. But I suppose it is possible.

I would kill my entire family for your hair ...
Nothing to worry about. Even if you were balding you could not do nothing about that because you're too young to take drugs like finasteride or minoxidil. But again there is nothing to worry about. Enjoy your youth ... time flies too fast.
