Ever since I knew about receding hairlines and how balding works I have been a little bit worried. For as long as I can remember, my hairline has been uneven and further back at the sides.
I have extremely thick hair, every time I get my hair cut the barber/ hairdressers always make a huge fuss about it. My dad has very thick hair too, so does my brother. My dad gets his hair shaved to about grade 4 as his hairstyle so I can see that he too has a very similar hairline to me. From what I can see my brother also has a similar hairline to mine, but his haircut reveals a lot less of it. My dad is 55 and he is showing no signs of balding except for when light is shined directly on his head, there are areas that are thinner than others.
Despite this though, I do spend a lot of time worrying that I might be going bald. I don’t have any hair loss anywhere else on my hair other than my hairline.
