It would intresting to know as a man thats battled hairloss, how he felt having to look at would could of been. Least he had a hairline in Dallas buyers club ....

You know, I was watching one of his movies from 2003 the other day and I must say that his hair looks better in 2016 than it did then. Just another example of how baldness can be beat/avoided with current treatments and hair transplants if needed.

I think most of us take for granted that we live in a time with such effective options, not to mention that there are other effective treatments on the horizon.

It isn't "if needed", its "if your loaded." His career revolves around looking good, and also he is a millionaire. He can afford and find treatments that others of us couldn't even dream of. He probably spends loads on hair loss, and I would bet has had multiple transplants. It would be difficult/impossible to spend $50-100k on hair loss when I am $40k in debt from student loans. I don't care about curing my hair loss when I am older and have money. I want to cure my hair loss while I am still young and it is affecting me most.

But speaking of actors with hair loss, look how Ashton Kutcher's hair changed from his 20s-late 30s. Being able to afford a good transplant can save your looks.

I don´t buy this thing about Hollywood stars having access to some totally secret treatments. There are many millionaires outside Hollywood and if there were better treatments out there we would have heard about them. With Mcconaughey it is probably a combination of concealers, treatments and transplants. The people also have personal assistants who make sure they (alniost) always leave their house with perfect/good hair. Not sure about Kutcher, hair transplant + Finasteride?
