Essentially what they've found is that hair cloning occurs with the transplantation of hair follicles and an extracellular matrix which leads to growth of that hair and additional follicles.
Out of curiosity, do any members of the forum have any additional knowledge of this system? Because if so, I have to wonder if they took the androgen-resistant hairs (from the side of the head) and utilized those on the crown and temples, wouldn't that lead to androgen-resistant follicles being reproduced?
Anyway, this really looks promising. I hope it isn't too cost prohibitive...
