Hi everyone,
So a little bit of background and timelines - 28, healthy male, Athlete, diffused thinning Norwood 2
5% Minoxidil 2014-2019 (Dropped it 2 months ago, experienced no shedding or loss)
Finastride 1mg/day 2018-present
Dermaneedling 2016-present (approx once a week), scalp massages daily
2 months ago I added to my regime once a day Bimatropost (generic careprost), Diclofenac 1% (active component in voltaren), Nizoral cream 2mg, Tea tree oil, Rosemary oil.
Every evening before bed, I scalp massage, then pour 3 drops of bimatropost, pea size of diclofenac, pea size of ketoconazole cream (2%), 1 drop of tea tree oil, 1 drop of rosemary oil, mix them and apply on scalp
I recently saw some peach fuzz hairs around the hairline between the healthy terminal hairs,
I have never experienced any sides from finastride and I don't think it has to do with my current situation which is as follows
3 weeks ago I started experiencing massive dizziness-headaches, I feel unstable when I stand, like my head isn't stable, especially when i move my head up, as if I can fall any moment. I have no desire to get back to work (I've been home since friday 3 weeks ago). I quit all meds except finastride 3 days ago, and I still experience the same dizziness. I visited ear doctor, he said it isn't Vertigo, and referred me to a neurologist, he couldn't see anything either, I spent around 13 hours in the hospital, did blood test and CT Scan, and there was nothing abnormal they could see there either. I just want to be back to normal, of course I care a lot about my hair and want to see progress, but I'm not willing to spend my life like this, obviously. It took me a lot of time and effort to come on here and share my story, honestly I lost the basic joy in life, I'm not sure what triggered all these sides?
From my previous experience I have used bimatropost (https://www.alldaychemist.com/careprost-3ml-eye-drops.html) for my lashes and eyebrows, with good results.
I have used Nizoral cream in the past, with tea tree oil, without any sides, so that leads me to suspect that the addition of diclofenac created this problem, or it's the bimatropost on scalp that causes this, or these ingredients together cause massive sides? Would love to hear your thoughts as the doctors couldn't help me really, and I went to well regarded clinics.
Really hope someone can shed a light on this as I feel clueless, just want my life to back to normal really
