Many people still don't know about generic minoxidil.

I just talked to another bald friend of mine. He thinks rogaine costs $30 for two weeks, and does not know about minoxidil. Sounds like he saw an ad by a middle man. I'm sure there are plenty that jack the prices up and sell them like there is not cheaper alternative, just because they know someone will be dumb enough to buy it.

I tried educating him, but but he said he does not want to do any treatment if he has to do it every day, even if it is just taking a pill. Then he says he may have as much hair as me some day because he keeps getting ads from Bosley in the mail.

I don't think the vast majority of people going bald (who know they're going bald) actually think about or know how to treat it. I also doubt the majority of the rest that do know, know anything other than Rogaine or Propecia. :wink:

i was telling my friend(a NW6) the other day i was using minoxidil, and he said "I've never heard of that, but i used to use rogaine. I used it for a year, i think it was helping but i stopped."
