Managing Donor Supply Using Next Gen Treatments

We speculate quite a bit about the mythical re-growth potential in the temples by the likes of replicel, follica, samumed, etc.

Even if we are able to stimulate growth in areas like the temples, the follicles would likely still be genetically predisposed to DHT sensitivity. So, there may be a need for FUE like procedures coupled with things like follica to maximize donor regrowth for subsequent procedures. Not a cheap option, but it seems like a viable option for those that can afford it.

I recently saw this video by Dr. Cole where he talks about his efforts to maintain a donor area using things like acel, prp, platelet lysate, etc. I think this donor replenishment line of thought is the way forward short to medium term.

I'm cross-posting that video from the FUE section because I think this line of thinking (donor management) combined with something like Follica could be a pragmatic approach. Some of us are advancing in our loss faster than a cure-all like Tsuji.
