Hey everyone, this is my first time here..I don't think I posted this in the right forum I wasn't sure where I could fit the topic in so I'm doing it here. For the past year or two I have been having excessive amounts of dandruff with scabs and sores all over my head. The scabs would be so big sometimes I would feel them and think that they were huge moles. The dandruff is ridiculously terrible...i scratch my head for a little while and accumulate enough dandruff under my fingernails where I could roll it up into little balls! Disgusting I know..but true. My hair started thinning a little in the beginning phase......then it came back to almost a full head of hair.....then it started thinning a LOT within the last 6 months. about 6 or more months ago I was able to gel and style my hair and no one would even notice that my hair was thinning at all.. Now my hair is thin all over My scalp. I don't really have much of a significant receding hairline at all either...maybe a little bit..but about average for a typical 23 year old male. But my hair is just completely thin all over my head to the point where I have to keep it buzzed to about a #2 buzz because I cant gel it anymore because its so thin. Is this a typical male pattern baldness or could it be something different? Whats the deal with the scabs, sores and excessive dandruff??
I'm not able to go to a doctor or dermatologist at the moment because I don't have insurance and not a lot of money because I'm going to school full time...so any and all responses will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much in advance.
