Just took some photos. The first one of the 3 is a week ago with longer hair though.

looks like a mature hairline, but nobody can really tell you what's gonna happen just by looking a picture. Describe your situation, family history of hairloss, how much you think you've lost, how fast etc...

Could be just your hairline maturing and stay like this forever without treatment, and it could be the very early stage of male pattern baldness. Give some details.

father is 60 and still has his hair, no signs of balding on top, but the hairline has obviously receded a lot since his younger years

mothers side of the family, well, some of my uncles have really deep widows peaks, and some just have normal looking hair.

i believe neither of my grandfathers had male pattern baldness however

your hair is too thick to be male pattern baldness. It's either very early stages of male pattern baldness or mature hairline.

At the moment it looks nothing more than mature hairline.

Thanks, that eases my mind a little. I just used to have a lot of hair in the temple area, and now its all just thin/baby hairs.

hair looks like an M shape if i grow it long :\

You could start using Nizoral now and then. It wouldn't hurt. Your hair looks good.

Ah thanks for the tip! Do you recommend I use 1% or 2% in my situation?
I know my case isn't so bad at the moment but I'm pretty paranoid because all my temple hair disappeared within a year. Feels like yesterday I had a full head of hair :(

If 2% is over the counter there, use it. If not, 1% will do just fine. Use it 2-3 times weekly and make sure you leave it on for about 4-5 minutes before rinsing.

wow, you really get some bad opinions on here.

theres clear miniturisation there on the hair line. appears to be early male pattern baldness but may transpire to be a mature hair line. theres no real way to know, just keep an eye on it buddy

The last pic definitely says early stages of balding in my opinion.

I would say that you are in the early stages of male pattern baldness.

I am looking at the first picture, and I think more of your forehead would be covered if you had only reached your adult hairline. I would say the same about the second picture that you posted, the straight on shot of your hairline.

That being said, I think you are only in the very early stages of male pattern baldness, and if you take care of your hair starting now, you might be able to maintain the hairline that you currently have for some time.
