I've been lurking for a while but I decided to join because I was curious to see if anyone else on this site is experiencing male pattern baldness after already having Testicular Cancer.
I was diagnosed with the cancer in April 08, had surgery in May 08 to remove the tumor (i.e. my right testicle). Everything appeared to be normal, nothing has reoccurred.
I noticed my hair was thinning in the back and my hair line has receded quite a bit since then. From all the pictures I have of me it appears it started after the surgery.
I'm wondering if anyone else on this forum has had this type of cancer and still have male pattern baldness. It just seems counter-intuitive, as I would of expected lower levels of testosterone ergo lower levels of DHT in my body.
