Making my own laser comb - a technical queston

Hello,

I know this question should be placed in the "laser treatment" categoy, but since there is no such category in this forum, I will post it here...

Its rather a specific question, so if anyone know the answer, please let me know. Its about laser diodes. How deep they should be placed within the laser comb? In other words, how far those diodes should be from the skin when using the laser comb?
