Making Couvre More SmearProof and Resistant to Smudges

After I apply Couvre to my scalp I spray hairspray to add durability to it. The last thing I need is for my girl to suddenly reach for my hair and smudge the stuff off my scalp, that would be embarrassing! I've tested applying simple hairspray over couvre after drying. I took a shower and wet my hair, it stayed on well. Does anyone have any better solutions that they've had success with for making Couvre more durable??

You've lost me, you mean it doesn't come on in the shower even when hair is wet, so you don't wash it off? Does it not smear pillows?
