Major Thinning all over - What to do?

I am a diffuse thinner, and I have been on finasteride for about 6 months and rogaine foam for about 8 months. Hairlne is not a big concern at all but the overall thinness all over especially at the crown. At around the 3rd month of finasteride and 5th of foam it appeared that my hair had thickened up but then gradually got thinner and thinner and over the past few weeks it has been the worst its ever been. You can practcally see my whole scalp through my hair and even now, even with a number 1 buzz, u can still tell I am thinning pretty bad. I thought maybe i was going through a finasteride shed but its been going on for a while now. Is it possible that this is a shed or does it sound like I am losing ground? i'm very discouraged and starting to get desperate, considering dropping finasteride, and adding dutasteride and thinking about adding spironolactone as well. Any suggestions? Is there any topical other than rogaine that might be more effective to spark some new regrowth? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It sounds like you are losing ground indeed. Waste no time and add Dutasteride to your regimen. Good Luck!

You could just be going through a shed, they can last a while. I would jut stick with the minoxidil and finasteride and give it another few months before changing things.
