Hey there! Previously I made a post asking about hair transplant options. I've since hopped on the Big 3 and have seen great results in only 8 months. I'm still planning on getting a transplant, but for the next year I want to try as many hair supplements/schemes/witch doctor ideas as possible.

My current regimen is Big 3, Biotin daily and dermarolling weekly-ish. It has worked super well.

What else do you guys all do that you think helps maintain your hair? Bonus points if you've actually tried it yourself.

Hey man

I remember your initial post here! Glad to hear that meds work for you. Can you post some picture or update your thread with current pictures? Would be very interesting to see how it looks like now. Did you get back your curly hair? When did you first notice improvements? I remember that you posted after 6 months of treatment but didn't mention any improvements back then

Biotin never did much for me.
Biocell collagen is the king its abit expensive but worth every penny.Made my hair noticibly thicker and soft and silky to touch.Makes your nails very soft and supple too and they grow really quickly.

Sure thing! These pictures are from a couple years ago, probably at my worst hair-wise. I actually had trouble finding any really bad photos because I realized I've been hiding from the camera. I had to zoom in so sorry for the crap quality. The new photos I took yesterday.

What's crazy is although you can't see it, my crown in the old photos is pretty much completely gone. While I'm definitely still a balding guy (especially in my hairline) it's worlds apart from being only about a year since hopping on all the treatments. My hair is obviously longer, but it's 100% thicker, healthier, with new hairs popping up all the time. I honestly can't put into words how much happier I am.

Let me know if you have ideas for more treatments!

Great work brother..congrats.....NORTHFACE, are you taking just finasteride or are you taking minoxidil as well? Thanks in advance... I'm always curious if some people just stick with 1 or the other.

wow man that's some amazing regrowth! In your case I would just stick with the current treatment and wait at least you hit the 1 year mark before adding something else. You will for sure get better results within the next months and finasteride results can peak until 2 year mark.

Next step would be dutasteride but I wouldn't recommend you to take that now. Just see where finasteride brings you and if your not happy enough with the results think about dutasteride to maybe boost regrowth

oral minoxidil is usually effective , but idk if it is worth it overall because it has some nasty potential sides . If you dont care about sides at all you can get estrogel too

Just wanted to post an update as it's been about 6 months. Still rocking the Big 3 + biotin and dermarolling. Can't complain! Things have been pretty great, although whatever big changes I experienced a year or so back have definitely slowed down. Still I can feel a little thickening and new hairs, especially in the crown. Gonna get a haircut soon.

My rough plan now is to finish my supply of minoxidil and book a transplant in Turkey for sometime this winter. Gotta say my confidence has been way up, to the point that I'm starting to second guess if I want the transplant at all. Having more hair would be dope though so we'll see.

Could add MSM and CoQ10 like I have, there's also silica which women with long hair seem to use commonly. Don't forget there's greater strength big 3 options. dutasteride instead of finasteride, 2% nizoral instead of 1, and 10% minoxidil. Though I doubt the nizoral change would do much.
