Abstract​

The 1550-nm erbium glass fractional (Er:Glass) laser is one of the new treatment modalities introduced for androgenetic alopecia (Androgenetic Alopecia), showing a very satisfactory outcome. Various molecules that play roles in wounding, such as fibroblast growth factors, epidermal growth factors, insulin-like growth factors (IGF), and vascular endothelial growth factors, are recognized as the main factors influencing hair growth and the hair cycle.
