Hi,
My name is Gav (male , 33 years), I have been loosing hair from the age of 23. When I was 29 I did a hair transplant surgery , the result was not what i expected but I was okay as most of my head was looking fuller, and I was on Finpecia 1 mg (Finasteride 1mg) daily. When I got married 3 years back I have discontinued the Finpecia but still my hair was looking great with out drastic change untill last 8 months. All of a sudden i started loosing hair and with in 8 months I am almost bald donot know what went wrong, initially I thought It was because of my diet (I was on a strict diet and lost 22 kilos in 4-5 months), and I stopped the diet and started eating normally,the hair fall was still accelerated. So i decided to use Finpecia again from last 2-3 months, because of the hair fall the scar which was made on my donor area will be visible in 2-4 years may be.
Now when I went to my blood test recently ( 2 weeks back) I was pretty confident I will have elevated levels of DHT but my DHT is way too low, can any one check the below and suggest should I continue taking Finpecia and I am also planning to take testosterone supplements (will it make any difference) ?
Note :- I am a hypothyroid guy and take the thyroid medications daily and my thyroid is in control fromlast 10 years.
