So i've noticed for quite a while that i've got a massive build up of dead skin on my scalp, only on the top where i'm thinning. i dont have any dandruff at all, but after a shower, i can use my finger nail and scrape it off big time. at the same time, my scalp is also super oily.

i'm on propecia and just began rogaine foam 3 weeks ago.

I have no clue but I have the same problem. Ive tried nizoral a bunch of prescription shampoos none of them did anything. Saw palmetoo actually helped it for a little while but now its back to normal

I've had a similar problem with flaking. I'm not sure what it is or what causes it and I can't say that I've found any long term solution; things that work only seem to work for a while. Nizoral worked at first. Adding revivogen ended the flaking for a couple months. So did Folligen. Most recently I tried Head and Shoulders selenium sulfide shampoo and that has worked pretty well.

Do you have itch?

IBm is your head still bleeding and all patchy and $#iT?

Not right now. It's controlled. I've used some time sulphur cream in top of my head. It worked. Some wounds here and there but nizoral shampoo heals it.

If i get patches i'll put sulphur cream to not get extended.

Did propecia help at all? I have my suspicions that dht is partly responsible but im pretty scared to jump on propecia for my own crazy theory.

well i havent seen any regrowth, but it may have helped slow down my loss. i have lots of hairs fall out each day, especially when i shampoo, but thats been happening for years, but my hair has pretty much looked the same for those years

I've started getting flakes since I started using Revivogen. More towards the back of my scalp than front, If i run my fingernail over it white flakey stuff comes off. Nizoral seems to help clear it up.
