Lost 30 Hairs In The Shower Today. Is This 100% Balding?

Is this balding?? When I washed my hair at least 30 hairs fell out. None from the back. All from the front/top. I'm legit terrified. Honestly I didn't think I had it that bad but now I'm freaking out. I am going to get on finasteride asap but i don't have health insurance right now and won't have it for a few months. I'm freaking out so hard.

I still lose hairs when I wash or comb my hair with finasteride. I dont count how many because im not worried about losing my hair anymore with finasteride

30 hairs in the showers is nothing.

It is balding, as in you're losing hair. The real question is - is it permanent (male pattern baldness) , to which i'd say that it's quite likely not. Shedding in the shower is normal and doesn't mean you suffer permanent hair loss. It's even more noticeable if your hair is relatively long, because the hair which sheds throughout the day (which is normal) gets stuck in the rest of your hair until you rinse it out in the shower. Don't stress over it.

With that being said, if you upload a photo of your hairline / overall hair we can give a better estimation. Also, if you tell your doctor that you want finasteride because you saw 30 hairs fall off your head while in the shower, he's gonna laugh at you

I remember time when there was at max 5-7 hairs in shower, now I would gladly accept 30. you may be balding my friend
