Loss of eyelashes..?

So if losing the hair up top wasn't bad enough... I'm now losing my eyelashes. Rather quickly too, theres a nice gap on the bottom lid of my left eye already.

I assume this is AA related? Does anyone know of any treatments? I've been searching, but mostly finding cosmetic options for the ladies... oh and my current regimen (not on the eyes, obviously) is just nizoral and propecia for the past 4.5 months... no results so far, still shedding

Cheers.

edit:: just wanted to point out that I'm a diffuse thinner up top... not the oval losses that AA is usually associated with

You should go see a doctor and check your thyroid levels, they're probably low since one of the first symptoms of low thyroid levels is thinning of the eye lashes and low thryroid can cause hair loss as well. You might have male pattern baldness as well but low thyroidism will make it worse as well as add more unfavorable symptoms.

My fault -- should have mentioned that. I actually had a blood test about a month ago to check just for that, as my weight was being weird and I had very little energy, but my tsh and all thyroid levels checked out fine. Found some other problems though lol... low HDL, pectus excavatum, and a mitral valve prolapse... my twenties have started out pretty fun...

Thanks for the reply though

Eye lashes- I agree, you should get checked. In terms of treatment I've heard Lumigan (bimatoprost) being used for this. Lumigan is originally an eye drop for Glaucoma however has the side effect of making lashes thicker. I'm pretty sure the manufacturer is developing a hair loss product but I can't remember the name. I'm sure if you look around you'll be able to find clinics where they use Lumigan for making eyelashes thicker.
