Losing hair but not thickness

Hey guys,

I find it quite strange that while I am losing hair, between 70 - 200 hairs a day, the hairs on my scalp are all quite thick. None of my hair seem to be reducing in diameter. I through that with male pattern baldness each hair becomes thinner and thinner until it no longer grows. I have lost 60% of my hair within the past 6-8 months.

Does this mean that in one cycle all the follicles were seriously scarred and won't grow back?

Have they just become synchronized for some reason and within the next
6-12 months I should see some nice regrowth?

Or is it possible that they are not scarred but for some reason are no longer growing?

What are your thoughts.

I think this is the case with me because 1 year ago ,you could not see through my hair when wet and it was short,so i believe mine have gone from full shaft thickness to weak in 1 cycle

not weakened

My hairs are still thick, it is just that when they fall out they are not growing back. Is this common? Does not seem like typical male pattern baldness to me. Weird!
