Losing at front - what now?

Hi.
I've been receding at the front and using finasteride for about 3.5 years now, along with Niz2% every 3 days, during which there was a point when the hair loss definitely stopped (not sure about regrowth) But during the last few months I noticed that I really lost a significant amount of hair at the front. May I add that a few months ago I switched from Propecia to Proscar (not that it should matter, but still...).

So what next? Should minoxidil be a good option? Is the finasteride weakening over time? or maybe i just held the process back as much as I could, and now's the time (I'm 25)?

Any ideas would be appreciated - also if you know a cheap and reliable online source for minoxidil in europe (I havent even checked what's the price at stores here).

Thanks!

Propecia doesn't help receding hairlines or the temples very much. I would suggest adding Rogaine, Tricomin, or both. Maybe even topical spironolactone will work for you. I got regrowth from Rogaine and Tricomin on my hairline. Almost back to a Norwood 1.

Aplunk,

maybe it's the fuzzy pictures, but you don't look like you need dutasteride yet.

did you ever try finasteride first? I have seen regrowth on my hairline using it.

I started Finasteride just as my hair became a little bit thinner. No loss, actually, just the hairshafts were thinner. Well, over the course of 11 months, my hair dramatically became thin, and I decided to get on Avodart. I'll try to upload a pic of me in the Las Vegas sun. You'll be surprised.
