losing 150 hairs a day is normal? think again.

im tired of people telling others that losing x amount of hair is very normal and just part of the hair cycle, now that might be the case if you have a full head of thick hair. but people here dont, why do you think theyre here in the first place? when youre balding and thinning losing 150 hairs a a day is NOT normal!

Well some people CAN lose up to 150 hairs a day and have no hair loss (look at the drain after a girl uses a shower). What matters is if those hairs are coming back thick as they were or thinner than they were. Unfortunately for us, most of those hairs are coming back thinner...

thats what im saying, when you have 100,000 hair losing 159 is normal, but when a balding man with 50,000 hairs loses 150 hairs, then my friend, it it not normal

You are not losing x amount of hairs a day.
You are shedding x amount of hairs a day, there is a difference.

It would be normal for a balding man, but then you know you are balding because you only have half of your hair left. There is no need to count the shed rate in this case to make such a determination.
Of course you have a higher shed rate when you go bald, the hairs have a shorter life-cycle as they undergo miniaturization.

The question is, what are you doing about it?

I've heard its normal to shed 50-100 hairs a day?
I probably lose about 10-30 a day judging from when I run my fingers through my hair, it looks like snapped hair though as there's very rarely a white bulb on the end.

Lol.. I'm still curious as to when people say they're losing x number of hairs a day.. You can't count that.
