Pick up on women working in the dermotology field, with my balding head.. What can I say, I have a healthy fear of rejection.

The important thing about nizoral is that it contains Ketoconazole. This medication has antifungal properties that help reduce dandruff, but Ketoconazole has also been found to have DHT inhibiting properties as well. That is why in some cases where people have responded to extremely well to Nizoral, they have experienced regrowth similar to minoxidil.

Thread back on track. :)

Perhaps, but if that were the case bomb why not just make 10% or 20% Ketoconazole shampoo rather than the 2%. I will use the new stuff and let you know how it works out. Remember people also use T-Gel and T/sal here to and I think T-Gel was used in the minoxidil trials. It has more to do with the Anit fungul activities of the shampoo I think.

I've seen shampoos with 1%, 2%, and 3% Ket. I think that the higher the percentage the harsher it is on your scalp. T-Gel does help scalp condition. I use that on my non-nizoral days. But nizoral is a specific hairloss treatment, not something that I use to help my scalp condition.
