Loosing thick hairs ... weird

Ok , maybe I'm just dumb or something but from what I've read the balding process is supposed to look like that :

DHT attacks follicles , they shrink , the hair fall and are replaced by crappy thin hairs and eventually completely disappear .

Wich leads me to my question :

I have a diffuse loss in a kind of norwood pattern , the front part of the head and receeding temples .
When I look at my scalp I have no thin hairs in the diffuse loss part of the scalp , an analogy would be like a forest with thick trees and no thinner ones and no vegetation .
The hair that fall off are in their vast majority thick and look healthy , and its even worse juste after I apply minoxidil .

Is this normal ? Because my hair loss started not even a year ago .

I think it's different for everyone - do you have no miniaturized hairs either?

I had very few small hairs either from what I remember, but I've got much more at the front now, and they do seem to be looking reasonably strong so hopefully they will grow into full healthy hairs again, I'm crossing my fingers! :)

I do hover have thinning and less pigmented hairs still ._.

So it's definitely in a norwood pattern, with a focus on the hairline yeah?

Sounds like male pattern baldness to me, a photo would be very useful though :)

I do have some thinning hairs on the back part of the head but a lot of hairs
that go away seem healthy and thick , I don't get it .
I'll try to make some decent pictures .
