Looks And Looksmaxing Is Overated No One Cares

I am starting to believe in the blue pill despite years of being redpilled. Why? Unpopular opinion : unless your a model looks don’t matter. I know none of us want to go bald and it would hurt our apperences BUT the reality is most of us are average looking. I’m not going to lie , having hair does make at easier to have a one night stand But you still have to put in the work. What I am saying is hair alone won’t do sh*t.

I’ve taken this as an observation from my own life as I struggle with social anxiety. Although I have no experience being bald yet, I am considering shaving my head. Why? Well because in my current state with hair I am ignored in 90% of social situations anyways. If I go bald I might be ignored in what -95% of social situations? Maybe 99%?

The reality is most people don’t care about your hair. Yes being bald makes most people look worse and makes one night stands harder but is there that many people that are really taking finasteride and going out to bang new girls every night? I guarantee you after a few years that would get old. I can’t really back this up but I’m thinking of shaving my head to see how it goes. I know I’ll be much uglier, but at the same time , who is going to care?

I agree. Some are convinced that they’d be f*****g 10s every night if they had hair, when they weren’t doing that before they were afflicted with hair loss. I’m not downplaying the effects it has on one’s self esteem, but being able to get girls isn’t contigent on just that one feature, in my opinion.

I believe I’m one of the worst people for pulling of being bald. Ever since I found out I was balding I’ve felt my life was ending. But luckily hairloss drugs have been working for me and now I’m just asking myself now what? I still don’t have a social life , I still don’t date . I have a feeling my life would be pretty similar if I were bald anyways even though I would look significantly worse. Because even though some girls do find me attractive now , since I am not chad status it’s not like they just approach out of the blue.

It took me 4-5 months of constantly instigating plans with people(i had plenty of loose friends but no group to go out with regularly) before i found people i could hang out with regularly.

You need work on your social life independent of the propecia: message people from school, make plans with acquaintances and put yourself out there. Having hair obviously means nothing when it comes to making friends and having a social life

You will regret coming of the propecia i think. Getting no attention on 90% of nights out compared to 99% is a big difference.

I also think you're underestimating the power of looksmaxing. Yes, you are right that most people are only average looking(duh!) but people, being average, will also not bother looking after themselves and will end up looking worse than average; many overweight guys out there who get no attention from girls will be average to decent looking alreast if they only took care of themselves. You will have an advantage if you make the minimum effort to keep your hair, get a good cut, dress well and lift - even if its just the bluepill of confidence

Don't go down this self defeating road, man(particularly when you are winning the fight currently)

If you are a "loser" without hair, you will be a loser with hair. How is that surprising?

The same is for women and dating. If you can't have a conversation/flirt with women as a balding/bald guy, you will still browse incel.me after a hair transplant.

The only thing that will change when you work on your looks (don't be fat, transplant yada yada...) is that you will have it easier in socialising and dating. People respond better to good-looking people. You cant simply change that no matter what RSD faggots tell you.

To add here: I aggree very much what John said. If you get the attention of just 10 percent of the women instead of 0-1 percent, it will make a huge difference in your life. Huge.

No I haven’t changed anything in my life so I suppose your right. All I’m saying is that hair alone isn’t going to do much unless your a male model. I agree though , I need to put in the work. But things like going out to pick up girls , well hell idk if it’s my anxiety or a weakened libido from finasteride but that doesn’t even sound very appealing . Can’t win in these cases it feels like. I do basic looks maxing things but sometimes I’m skeptical of the impact it has since I’m basically a loner.

I mean it’s surprising because it shows that hair is only situationally important . I doubt friends and stuff care if your bald. I should add that keeping my hair is definitely still important to me but I made this thread cause I’m weighing the cost / benefit of having to take hairloss drugs that sometimes I feel like coming off and being normal again , shaving my head and moving on.

You should take care of your looks out of self respect.

If not, then just become a bald fat f***. I heard they are really happy, because after all, looks don't matter.

Sorry but I don't buy it. I've never been able to do that and have never witnessed anybody in my position do that. I would like to say "you must be very rich" or "you must be in great shape" etc. etc. but I know that they don't mean a thing when you're bald. If this is true, then the only thing that could have done it must be height, since I haven't investigated or seen that one combined with baldness yet.
