Hey guys/gals, i've been checking these forums for a while now and i figured it's about time i found my balls and asked for some advice.

I'm 21 and i've always had a V shaped hairline however for the last year or two i've noticed (i believe it's called the temple region?) an even bigger V appear which really is quite unsightly, to me anyway. I don't have any noticable hair loss on the top/sides/back, however i do find my hair does fall out quite easily, for example i find alot on my pillows or when i shower.

It's not something i'm extremely worried about, but it's something i feel i should know, i have quite a long term girlfriend who actually prefers no hair so i'm living the dream if it so happens im going bald haha.

What i want to know is should i really be looking at maybe starting on anything?

I apologise for how bad these pictures are, my phone is bad.

once again, sorry for the bad quality pictures or if i waste your time, i appreciate any advice.

thanks

Looks like a pretty full head of hair, mate... I wouldn't be too concerned. That's only my opinion though. I'm sure there'll be plenty of peeps on here who'll disagree with me

Hi ifonly,

Welcome to the forum.

Your hair looks great from those photos, so really it depends on whether you're experiencing the first signs of hair-loss or just normal hair cycle loss (everyone loses hundreds hairs a day, it's quite natural).

What you do next is entirely up to you, it depends on how concerned you are about the possibility of hair loss. If you're concerned, then it might be prudent to just keep an eye on your hair over the coming months and keep a photo-diary. That way you should be able to keep an eye on things with minimal effort, you can also be confident that if you do spot the first signs of hair-loss you'll be able to take action if you want to.

Hope this helps :)

thanks for the replies peeps :]

I think ill just keep an eye on it for a while, judging by the fact you both say i have a nice head of hair it would really be a little silly to jump on meds now.

As for the regular amount of hair dropping it could just be that, i'm extremely busy most nights and often dont spent them at home so i haven't got time to wash it every night, so could that be it?
