Been to specialists in pittsburgh, hershey, ect ect. Same story they look at my hair and said it looks fine. A simple brush of my help always yelds at least 10 hairs. My head and scalp burn and that area looses hair, diffuse loss. I also loose at lease 5 eyebrows. I have posted on this site before about my conditions. I have mild hypothyroidsim and been on synthroid over 1 year. I loose easily over 150 hairs per day. My head burns so bad i cant stand it. I have a propecia script but I am afraid to take it. I did find out I have low test levels. could that effect eyebrow and bodyhair growth. My hair has also turned gray in the beard and hair area very rapidly. If im going bald then so be it but the eyebrow thing is weird. So is th tingling burning then hair loss. The hair I do loose seem very mininturized. and i loss it from the side of my head and back. I keep a pretty short haircut. Docs in pittsburgh told me mild adrogenetic alopecia saw nothing on my scalp and advised me not to take propecia? no reason. Only thing i am on now is nizoral. I use it alot, maybe it causes hair shed and burning. opinions please I know to most on this site my hair looks fine. I loose so much and it is nothing but skin when its wet. I just want to stop it if i can. docs have not been much help. I had a hair cut about 2 weeks ago. Number 1 on back and sides, blended into #3 on top. My hair is aslo greasy all the time. I was a least once per day, thanks

I'll be honest not really seeing that much of a problem, if you get the light correct and tilt your head most people can get to see scalp through short hair.

I'm not saying it hasn't thinned, just that from those pics, a layman wouldn't think anything of it.

In answer to your question about nizoral, that stuff can really do a number on me and make my head sting, maybe try a different shampoo with Keto in, for example Revita.

That pretty much the response I have gotten from others. I understand that most people dont know what I looked like before my hairloss started. I can feel the desity lost. Im just trying to get to the reason of the burning and stinging. I aslo have become ocd I check my hair constantly, brush it over the sink, count my hair loss, crazy sh*t. I wish I could let it go. btw the eyebrow loss is the worse. I will post of pic with a 2 year time span and you be the judge. Thanks btw I know most will say my hair looks ok for now. I have a very large cowlick on the back of my head so I know why it looks thinner in that spot

Looks fine to me. My hair was always kind of see-through depending on lighting conditions if I got the sides buzzed to a #1-3.

I would stop using Nizoral for now. It isn't going to help with male pattern baldness if that is what you do have, and you make it sound as if the Nizoral is causing extra-greasy or dry/brittle hair.

Androgenic alopecia (male pattern baldness) does not affect the entire head. You've either got some sort of temporary telogen effluvium (Telogen Effluvium) or that's just the way your hair is.

If you become convinced that it is male pattern baldness, then Propecia/finasteride is what you need.

Why the major shedding? I lost over 30 eyebrows last night alone. Especially by my nose. The ones that do grow back are very small and fall out just by normally washing. Its scary. Lots of reasons for your eyebrows to fall out. I do have slight dermatitis under them. However that would not cause them to repeadidly fall out. No more opinions on the hair? It might look ok its just I loose incredible amounts each day. I can literally pull my hair out like cotton candy. especially in the spots that really burn and itch

The burn and itching makes me think it's male pattern baldness, but usually eyebrows falling out might be some kind of alopecia areata.
