This guy is usin' them both. Wonder if the counteract each other? Im still looking for an anti-DHT topical (other than spironolactone) that will not contain zinc or azaelic acid myself (Pickart also believes azaelic acid damages scalp if used for a long time)....

I've read a bunch of this guy's posts on another forum. He seems well-intentioned and has certainly done an abundance of research. His choice is to go "natural." It is NOT a scam...it's just another guy's approach. That doesn't mean it will work for you.

The question is - do you want to wager the time it would take to give this method a fair shot? There's a certain opportunity cost there. It's your choice to make!
