Hi all...

I'd like to hear from some of the veterans of hair loss treatments. Anyone who's been using minoxidil, finasteride, spironolactone, lasercombs, needling... whatever, and has been doing this for say, 7 or more years.

What success / progress have you had? (you've obviously received some sort of maintenance or regrowth to be still using it after so long)

What age bracket are you in, and when did you start?

What is your norwood status now? How has this improved / deteriorated since you started?

Have hair loss treatments come a long way since you started?

(feel free to just link me to your story if that's quicker)

I haven't been using treatments for 7 years, but I am approaching 4 years now. I was BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALDING as if I were in a contest or something. I look at some of these pictures on here and think "wow.....why are these people even here??" At 21, I was sure I'd be a Norwood 7 by 25. I'm very close to 30, and it looks pretty good. With really long hair, or buzzed, only a fellow baldness inspector would notice. It's still pretty tough, but it's MUCh easier at 30 than it is at 20.
