How do we know that even the good responders to finasteride aren't causing premature impotence and developing an intolerance to androgens that will later cause a paradoxical effect in hair loss and rendering other drugs useless. You hear all sorts of stories of finasteride stopping working after 5 years +.
I mean, can you imagine being on this drug for 40 plus years to maintain your gains and the toll it will take?
We wouldn't have Androgens if they weren't important. When finasteride was first marketed they claimed that it lowered risk of prostate cancer because less people were being diagnosed, but then the truth came out that it was merely masking the early signs and these men actually had a 68% higher chance of being diagnosed with prostate cancer in a later much more aggressive form in its later stages.
