Long Term Effectiveness Of Finasteride?

I been on finasteride for 16 years. I have temple recession. Minor on my left side maybe NW2 max and maybe Norwood 2.5 on my right. Thick dense hair with no diffuse hairloss once you hit the hairline. I find it difficult to tell whether my hairline has stayed the same or gotten any worse. I have looked at photos 20 years old which seem to show the same receded hairline. So maybe the finasteride halted the progress of balding. Or maybe I was never going to bald in the first place who knows. Now the last couple of months I am having a crack at also using minoxidil to see if that can fill in the corners.

I can tell you that I think finasteride + minoxidil is like 1+1=3. Definitely use both together.
