Localized Dandruff

For the past 2 years Ive used Propecia Ive had dandruff on the receding hairline. I have used a ketoconazole shampoo for the last 2 years and previously I had dandruff all over the top, the area covered with hair that I would have lost if I hadnt started Propecia!
Two years ago I was a bigforeheaded NW2 and now I am a NW3 :( and the dandruff is only on that frontal nw3 patch and around the temples....
It is a weird dandruff, it doesnt leave trace on any clothes and it sticks to the scalp. Its almost like the skin as been torn in very little bits. But when the hair is wet its when it is most noticeable. Can any1 tell me what this is? I still havent figured. I got rid of flaky oily scalp with the keto shampoo but this still remains on my head. The hair would definitely grow better without it. Ill try to post some pics... :(

Forget the dandruff, it sounds like it could be inflammation. I've had a similar problem to that on my eyebrows, white flakes, itchy rough/dry patches of skin and also eyebrow loss.

What I've started doing is gently rubbing hydrocortisone 1% on them after I get out of the shower. 5-6 days later the itching/flakes were completely gone.. The hair still hasn't grown back yet tho !!

yeah, sounds like inflammation from male pattern baldness rather than dandruff. Keep up with the nizoral and look into anti-inflammatory supplements

Side effects like what?

nizoral inflamed my eyebrows even more... only corticosteroids seem to relieve them.
