Hi there I’m 16 and noticed some recession in my hairline and I currently started to notice some tiny hairs growing where I have receded so I’m just wondering does this mean anything

You're beginning to recede and should get on treatment as soon as is recommended.

Eventually you want to get on finasteride but I think it's generally recommended that you do not do so until you are at least 18.

In the meantime, I would suggest dermarolling + minoxidil. Perhaps saw palmetto. Castor oil.

Your hairline looks really good btw, I wouldn't in any way class you as receding. They do look like miniaturized hairs though (if they were longer, stronger-looking hairs prior).

Due to your age, id speak to your doctor. It's hard to say as you are 16 years old; your hormones naturally will be all over the place and it may be completely normal to have a temporary change in the density of your hair while your hormones fluctuate.

Might not necessarily mean you are losing hair, as it might just be a change in your hormones.
