Link Between Hairloss And Beard Acne/folliculitis?

Long before Instarted diffuse thinning (39) I struggled with terrible folliculitis. From 20 on I could not shave without deep and large cysts in the beard area. The rest of my body and face have always been completely acne free. When my Hairloss started it started with a bunch of scalp cysts and a big Telogen Effluvium. Now it’s still covering but the hairs are dead whispy and I shed constantly.

Anyway as I dig at every angle I’m trying to find some correlation between the two issues and the role DHT. My labs were low DHT below normal range with above average T and Free T. Low iron. Low WBC.

I’ve been on different antibiotics, two courses of accutane, topical antibiotics... for over 20 years. I eat clean and I’m in good shape.

Anyway, both issues are getting worse and no dermatologist has been able to provide any answers except more antibiotics which I imagine have been dangerous in there own right. Thought some one might have had a similar experience.

I got beard folliculitis as well. For a long time i though it was regulsr acne like when i had as a teenager, im so dumb. I ended up getting big cysts on my face and on my chest (i trim my body hair, i got too much) and they infected and now got huge scars. Lately my folliculitis is mostly whitheads around my nose and chin area from time to time but not so much anymore. I spray alcohol on all my trimmers before and after each use. I also wash area with benzoyl peroxide.

It still f*****g sucks, i got a whole lot of fucked up things, from hair loss to folliculitis to bleeding disorders to stomach issues, small height... Still could be worse, im a happy with a great gf and never really had issues with girls. Actually my brothers got none of those and are virgins lol.
