What is my hair color = Dirty Blonde
What type of balding do I have = Frontal Recession

Have I noticed any results= Yes. Regrowth along hairline and lengthing of microscopic vellus hairs. My overall hair looks a lot thicker and healthier when styled. My hairline came back some and looks a lot better than it did.

Have you noticed any results: Yes, maintenence with propecia alone for a few years, good ammount of regrowth with minoxidil since August 2002.

Results: Finasteride & minoxidil improved my hair except at the front where the loss just slowed, but dutasteride and minoxidil for last 7 months have thickened it all up.

Have you noticed any results: Yes, minoxidil "woke up" hundreds of follicles in that gray area (again refer to avatar) on top that had recently (within the past 3-5 years) gone dormant.

Have you noticed any results: Yes, propecia alone seemed to have stopped the shedding after just 2.5 months. Hoping for regrowth with propecia and minoxidil 5% in 2004.

When you start balding: No idea.. Maybe 23 or 24? I didn't notice any balding until 27

What type of balding do you have: Diffuse thinning mixed with temple recession. NW2 or maybe 2.5. I've always had a high hairline though, it hasn't changed much.
When did I start treatment: Age 27, September 2013, Finasteride and minoxidil. Already used nizoral for my dandruff

When did I start treatment: October 2012, 21 years old, started finasteride and minoxidil at the same time (see my latest thread for pictures of progress)

Have you noticed any results: Yes, noticeable regrowth on crown and slight regrowth on temples with very unpredictable and volatile periods of shedding lasting up to 6 months along the way!

Reassuring to see there are a lot of relatively young guys out there going through similar things.

When did I start treatment: Always pretty much used minoxidil, I think its useless tho. Tried finasteride and after 8 months had HORRID sides Im still dealing with a bit. Need to get my testosterone levels checked again.

After looking at your avatar pic it makes me wonder.
I remember before Homer Simpson never really noticing people making too much fun of bald guys, in fact it was just a thing. I was a lot younger then.
Could his stigma have sort of enhanced the fun of poking at balding men and of them being more inferior?

Perhaps someone older than I can say.
