less dht more testosterone?

am i right in thinking that with propecia you will experience a rise in testosterone levels as more dht is being converted? i might sound a little confused,but propecia is working for me,and my sex drive has got pretty high,if there is any correlation,and you can figure out what im asking ,any comments appreciated

I think I figured this one out...maybe it increases the % of normal testosterone...but DHT is basically a "vicious" version of testosterone...which is what makes you a male...you know sets your sex drive and aggression...but I dont think the rise in normal testosterone is a problem.

hey stax ,ive been on propecia since 17th october 2005,minoxidil since 9th october 2005,and nizoral since around the same time.......

thanks for your answers everyone,i didnt suffer any decrease in libido ,and recently ,say in the last month or so its definitely gone up,but them maybe its the summer factor and a higher % of women are looking deceivably more attractive !

i feel that since taking dutasteride my libido has been upped and also my skin looks alot better. I know alot of people ost about the negative effects of dutasteride on their skin and sex drive, but for me seems to have a positive effect. my skin just seems smoother and more even toned after using it. i had to go w/o dutasteride for 2 weeks and i noticed my skin getting worse. sure enough after a week on it, things are looking better. Sounds strange, and it might be a mental thing, i dunno...

Maybe not, I noticed the same thing with my dose of finasteride (2.5mg / day).
