I was using finasteride for the last 2 years and noticed that I had almost no hair or less hair on my stomach, chest and shoulders. I recently made the switch to Durasteride because im a greedy bastard 3 days a week MWF. This was back in february. Ive noticed that ive been losing scalp hair and the hair on my stomach, chest, pubic region and shoulders is getting thicker. I can also see small hairs starting to come in. This would be good but its not not my head but on my body! Could it be that dutasteride is not working? Ive also recently gone against my doctor and just starting taking dutasteride .5mg everyday and not 3 times a week. Could it be that finasteride was working better for me than dutasteride? Or should i give it more time because I was on such a low dose?
